My practice focuses on women and their unique challenges, transitions and strengths. At some point, most of us will find ourselves in need of extra support to better cope with what life has presented. I work along side women in their quest to experience more conscious, peaceful, joyful and authentic lives in the midst of difficulties and transitions. Whether dealing with depression or anxiety, facing a life transition/challenge such as divorce, grief, parenting, menopause, serious/chronic illness, or spiritual questioning, I seek to help women draw upon their inner, family/community and spiritual resources to become their best selves.I work with women to identify patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that have enhanced or diminished their lives. Beyond problem solving, I help clients uncover greater insight and achieve fuller expression of themselves through techniques such as: story telling, journaling, dream work, role play, relaxation, art, mythology, behavioral modification, etc.My professional roles have included business woman, teacher, counselor and chaplain. I'm married, the mother of two adult sons and four step-sons. Since 2002, I've lived with a chronic illness. My journey has shaped who I am while enhancing my love of life, relationships and my work.
