I am interested in helping others find their way out of emotional suffering which emerges from unwelcome adverse childhood events, trauma, and invalidation inflicted by others and life experiences, and later manifests as their own self-defeating habits of thought, feeling, and behaviors. My ideal client has an interest in building a life worth living and cultivating a path of wisdom, and a willingness to practice new skills of mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance.I completed DBT intensive training with Marsha Linehan and Linda Dimeff in 2000, and have over twenty years of practice in DBT, which is informed by interpersonal neurobiology.
