My greatest gratification as a therapist comes when clients recognize and use resources they may not have known they possessed to make changes that help them grow and achieve their goals. Together, we will create a treatment plan that is individualized to you and your needs.I have over 20 years experience as psychologist in private practice, university counseling centers, and academia. My approach is based primarily on CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) approach combined with interpersonal, psychodynamic, and humanistic approaches.I enjoy working with individual clients, couples, and groups. I am a strong generalist, and I am comfortable working with adults presenting with depression, anxiety, adjustment concerns, grief, and relationship concerns. I also have extensive experience treating eating disorders and sexual trauma.
