Bio:
I work a lot with teenagers and young adults, and have worked with them in a mentoring program for 12 years before getting my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also have a special connection with the homeschool community as I homeschooled my boys. I love working with families and helping parents and teens communicate. I work with anxiety, depression, grief and anger management (among other things).I like to use Narrative Therapy, which allows clients to be the hero of their story, Behavior Therapy, which helps people understand and change behavior patterns, and often creative media like art, writing and music to help people communicate in different ways.I believe that the client is in charge. I am only a guide with a great toolbox. I am there to help the process and be a caring person who can listen and empathize.
