If your tween (9-12) or teen (13-18) is having a hard time with… well life, I am here for them! I loves to work with tweens, teens, and families to help manage sticky situations like anxiety or depression, help with navigating relationships, managing stress, understanding big life changes, and much more. I believe that each person already has what they need to heal, but it sometimes our "okay-ness" gets stuck under layers of self-protection and hurt. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process that involves peeling back layers of protection so you and/or your teen can get back to your true authentic selves!I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is a fancy way of saying, "an evidence-based model that works for teens who have experienced trauma!" I have experience working within a middle school, so I feel confident in advocating within school systems. I utilize psychotherapeutic yoga as an intervention for teens and parents, as well!I find joy in the therapeutic process, whether that is through talk therapy or through yoga. I am always humbled and grateful for the opportunity to be invited into the depths of someone's experiences.
