Bio:
I provide individual sessions for women and girls who are suffering mentally and/or emotionally or who just want to improve their overall mental health and well-being. During our sessions, we will focus on past traumas and issues at core to change self-destructive habits, repair and improve relationships, and work through painful feelings in order to have a meaningful and abundant life.My therapy approach is client centered, mindfulness based and incorporates a holistic approach, that all components of ones' life are interrelated. I utilize principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Somatic Studies to decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety. I am currently studying to become a Yoga Teacher (YTT 200).My goal is to help women and girls find emotional well-being by understanding the mind-body connection and the impact that our thoughts, feelings, behaviors and experiences have on one another. I believe that every person has the potential for personal awareness and growth and to live a healthier and happier life.
