Inevitably, this human life will present us with changes, transitions and dilemmas that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed and searching for meaning. I work with college students, young adults, women/femme-identified & gender expansive clients wanting relief from suffering. With a strongly attuned presence, I support clients through challenges to reduce emotional suffering, build inner resiliency, increase supportive ways of coping and thriving, and facilitate the process and practice of deep healing. I use a "bottom-up" approach, meaning that we work with your body and your mind to facilitate healing.My embodied therapeutic approach is compassionate, authentic and based on mindfulness. Using a unique mind-body integrated approach of verbal psychotherapy and body-based therapies, I draw from treatment modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Embodied Attachment, Yogic Philosophy and Buddhist psychology.The client-therapist relationship is an important part of successful healing.
