I help people through times of grief, depression, anxiety, & life changes. Teaching mindfulness & how those skills can be used in your daily life to cope with stress from work, society, family & home life is often a part of therapy. We all have the answers within, sometimes we need someone on our side to help us find those answers. I counsel married & non-married couples; including LGBTQ. I offer pre-marital/pre-commitment therapy while helping couples communicate their goals, desires, & work through decisions like intimacy, parenting, finances, family boundaries, step-family issues, & much more.I have been effectively doing telehealth since 2016, long before Covid. My services include a free 10 min tele/vid intro. Sessions are 50 minutes long. I have limited M-F evening hours. Sunday apts start at 10am & the last scheduled apt begins at 6pm. I do not accept insurance, but I can provide you with an out-of-network receipt for reimbursement purposes.When I first started teletherapy I was very concerned about the potential loss of human connection & how that would be for someone going through a painful time. I have found that for most people, teletherapy is just as helpful and the connection is still there. It's easy to set up and you can participate in therapy from your home, the woods, or the beach.
