**ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS** I believe individuals have the answers within themselves to produce desired change and are the experts on their own life. My job is to help facilitate discovery of those answers and aid in navigation of life's stressors and obstacles. My doctoral research and education focused on treating individuals living with chronic pain. I see individuals with a variety of presenting concerns and diagnoses, including chronic illness, trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life stressors, and relationship concerns (amongst others).I believe self-awareness is necessary for personal growth. My counseling style is laidback, supportive, and authentic. I have a narrative style and use traditional talk therapy to process out loud in collaboration with clients. With a humanistic core, I pull pieces from other evidence-based theories to work with clients.Reaching out for help is a brave choice. I know the importance of building trust for what is potentially one's most personal situations. Building trust can feel difficult and intimidating. I will always present genuine authenticity in sessions. I strive to help clients with their personal growth through their counseling journey.
