Bio:
Life is messy. At times it can feel overwhelming, endless. My goal as a therapist is to walk with my clients on their life journeys as they navigate through difficult times and work to make changes to feel more effective in their everyday lives. I do this through a supportive and empowering therapeutic environment, utilizing a wide range of therapies tailored to each client's goals and needs in therapy. Whether it's past traumas continuing to affect the present, family conflict, feeling stuck, managing symptoms, or transitioning from one life event to another, therapy can be a great place to assist you in overcoming life's messes.I have worked in various mental health settings and trained in several different therapeutic modalities, including becoming certified in EMDR. I regularly seek out trainings and conferences in order to provide current best practices. I also volunteer in my community and provide trainings to businesses and groups to improve community-wide mental health. As a therapist, my job and purpose is to provide excellent mental health services to my clients in order to allow them to be more effective in their lives so that they can be the best version of themselves so that they may be better parents, students, community members, partners, and improve their lives and community as a whole.
