There are as many reasons why one enters into therapy as there are inspirations to dedicate ones life to being a therapist. The complex and dynamic nature of the human condition and the relationships we value and cultivate offer constant opportunity for growth and insight. Therapy is the conscious examination of those opportunities. The systems of dynamic relationships start with the individual. Building healthy relations is rooted in the relationship to self. As a psychologist, I have worked with a broad spectrum of issues, and have developed a deep respect for the unique stories and needs of my clients.I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adults and families.I treat anxiety, depression, trauma, as well as other presenting challenges. I also provide family law-related services such as Attachment and Parent-Child Relationship Assessments, Custody/Parenting Time Evaluations, Mediation, as well as Child-Informed Mediation.Sometimes past traumas can leave us feeling stuck, unable to talk about what happened, anxious and depressed. EMDR is an integrative psychotherapy approach approved for treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other emotional conditions as such anxiety, depression, OCD, among others. EMDR empowers us to live more fully.
